TEASED: Mysterious New Rolls-Royce Coming Today

Rolls-Royce has given the world a glimpse of an upcoming "celestial phenomenon," set to be revealed soon. The vehicle is partially concealed in darkness in the cryptic teaser image posted across the British luxury automaker's social media platforms with this caption: "A celestial phenomenon arrives."

Judging by the vehicle's silhouette, we could be looking at another bespoke version of the Ghost rather than the Phantom. The general shape and proportion from the rear angle point toward the former. The teaser doesn't give much detail, except for the sun peeking behind the vehicle amid a twilight setting and the exact time and date of the reveal.

Based on the caption and the setting of the teaser, Rolls-Royce could be looking at the sky for inspiration, something it has done multiple times in the past, with the Starlight headliner being one of its most prominent and slickest features.

Of note, a Celestial Phantom was introduced a decade ago, so there's also a chance that a Celestial Ghost could debut this time around.

Whether this is a new car line or a unique creation remains unknown. Rolls-Royce is renowned for its customization options, offering a wide range of choices for colors, materials, and finishes through its notable lineup of bespoke and commissioned builds.

One thing's for sure, though - the fuel consumption and emission details mentioned in the captions tell us that this isn't an all-electric model that follows the path of the Spectre. More importantly, it isn't the third Droptail model that follows the alluring Amethyst and the La Rose Noire, which both debuted last August. The third and fourth Droptail models are expected to come to light soon, but that won't be happening just yet.
